MERA000 - Failed to Connect to the Meraki Dashboard

Agent error code #MERA000 indicates the agent could not establish a connection to the Meraki Dashboard API. The request never reached a successful response.

Common causes include:

• The agent host has no outbound HTTPS path to api.meraki.com (or your regional host, e.g. api.meraki.cn)
• A proxy or firewall on the agent host is blocking the connection
• DNS resolution for the Dashboard host is failing
• A custom Dashboard base URL was set incorrectly in the backend configuration

Steps to Resolve

1. From the agent host, confirm outbound HTTPS to https://api.meraki.com/api/v1/organizations is reachable
2. If you set a custom base URL, confirm it is correct and reachable; leave it blank to use the default
3. Check any HTTP proxy configured for the agent
